Training, everyone needs to be trained how to use your firearms, period! Once you have some training, go to the range and practice. You will learn confidence and along the way have some fun! I highly recommend everyone in your household learn to use your gun even your kids. And yes, you have to train with the Safety Bullet also. On this page is information about the USCCA ,a great group of people that live to train! They love this stuff and love teaching you.

What is the difference between a USCCA Associate Instructor and a USCCA Certified Instructor?
USCCA Associate Instructors are authorized to teach with the USCCA materials contained in the Instructor Toolkit, only after providing recognized certification from a Nationally Recognized Training Organization. Associate Instructors are registered with the USCCA in order to receive financial compensation for subscription and membership referrals; however, they are not authorized to advertise their classes as USCCA courses, and they are not authorized to sign certificates bearing the USCCA logo.
USCCA Certified Instructors are individuals who have attended a USCCA sponsored course led by a Certified USCCA Training Counselor. Certified Instructors are authorized to advertise their classes as USCCA courses; they are authorized to sign certificates bearing the USCCA name and logo; and their certificates will be honored in all states where the USCCA is recognized by that state's controlling authority.
What kind of courses to they offer?
Pretty much any kind of instruction you could ask for everything from basic firearms to advance classes. Just ask and they will advise you for the situation you are preparing for. You will learn a lot and have some fun along the way.

Training with the Safety Bullet
OK I went at this to come up with the fastest - easiest gun lock that I could think of and the Safety Bullet is my answer. Here is why!
With the Safety Bullet if you need your gun rack out the Safety Bullet you have just loaded a live round! Yes it is that easy!
Q! But what if I forget and pull the trigger when I need it and the Safety Bullet locks up my gun?
A! That means you did not train. But if you did grab the rod run it down the barrel and unlock the Safety Bullet. In less than a second your gun is ready to go. Even if you did that if is faster to unlock the Safety Bullet than to get your gun ready to fire with any other gun lock.
Buy some Snap Caps 4 is all you need. Place all 4 in your completely empty firearm. Check it to make sure there are no lethal round inside. Ok when your watching TV or just want to practice:
Rack two rounds and pull the trigger on the third round
When you go to the range rack two rounds and empty the gun
Do these two things over and over until it is committed to muscle memory.
When you need your firearm you want even think about it you will automatically do the right thing. Yes it is that simple!
